As part of this evolution, Gaming1 is looking to appoint a senior Information Security leader who will help shape and drive the company’s security roadmap across both digital and physical environments.
YOUR ROLE
- As Chief Information Security Officer / Head of Information Security, you will take ownership of the company’s information security agenda and help build a robust, pragmatic, and scalable security framework aligned with Gaming1’s growth ambitions.
- This is a high-impact role for a senior security professional who combines strategic thinking with operational pragmatism and is comfortable working across governance, risk, compliance, technology, and business functions.
- The role currently sits within the broader Compliance and Risk environment, with visibility to senior leadership and the Board on strategic security matters.
- The CISO will serve as the primary authority on information security governance, policy, and risk management — defining standards and governing risk, while providing clear guidances to IT and Engineering on execution, design, and remediation.
YOUR PROFILE
- We are looking for a senior security professional with a strong foundation in information security, cyber risk, and governance, and the credibility to operate effectively at executive level.
- Significant experience in information security, cyber security, or IT security leadership roles
- Experience defining or contributing to security strategy, governance, and risk management frameworks
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and present to executive or Board-level audiences
- Experience in dynamic, technology-enabled, and fast-evolving environments
- Exposure to regulated sectors such as gaming, financial services, payments, or similarly complex operational environments is a strong advantage; prior experience in the gaming or iGaming industry is particularly valued.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and broader security maturity frameworks; hands-on experience with certification or compliance programmes is highly valuable
- Comfortable working in a build-and-shape environment, with the ability to define team structure, attract talent, and grow security capabilities from a limited initial baseline
- Experience managing or building security teams and overseeing cybersecurity budgets, with the ability to make sound investment decisions aligned with risk and business priorities
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO are highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel to operational sites as needed
