JOB DESCRIPTION
As Engineering Manager, you are the foundation of Amnovis’ solution-oriented take on additive manufacturing. Together with your team of application engineers and process engineers, you translate customer requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient manufacturing workflows.
You possess a fundamental understanding of the state-of-the-art in additive manufacturing capabilities and know how to translate these into true added-value solutions for our customers. Additionally, you take the lead in the organization and growth of our engineering activities.
Put simply, you are at the core of Amnovis’ product realization process, continuously challenging the status quo in reliable, high-quality additive manufacturing.

Your Tasks
- Define, implement, and continuously improve standardized product and process development workflows
- Coach and develop a team of application and process engineers
- Plan and distribute engineering work to ensure the timely delivery of added-value solutions
- Act as the internal and external subject matter expert on Amnovis’ manufacturing capabilities
- Team up with Sales, Operations, and Quality to ensure product realization processes are effective, efficient, reliable, and scalable
- Stay up to date on the state-of-the-art in additive manufacturing and post-processing technologies
Your Responsibilities
- Customer requests are translated into reliable and repeatable manufacturing workflows, in a timely manner
- Amnovis’ engineering organization scales with the company in a structured and sustainable way
- New technologies and process improvements are routinely adopted for volume manufacturing
- A pragmatic and consistent approach to Amnovis’ solution-oriented mindset is promoted across the entire organization
Your Profile
- You have a MSc in engineering or science with 4 – 7 years of relevant experience
- You have solid experience with metal manufacturing technologies. L-PBF would be a huge plus
- You have experience with product development in a contract manufacturing environment
- You are a clear communicator with excellent project management skills
- You have a commercial feeling and are comfortable explaining technical content in a commercial setting
- You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- You can seamlessly switch between hands-on operational tasks and strategic thinking
- You have professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- You have a no-nonsense entrepreneurial mindset
