About Corpowell
Corpowell BV is the Antwerp-based scale-up behind VeCollal®, the plant-based biomimetic of human collagen — a science-backed, vegan alternative to animal collagen, sold B2B to supplement and nutraceutical brands worldwide. Backed by Seventure Partners and working with leading manufacturing partners in Asia, we have grown roughly tenfold in three years and are now building the operational backbone for the next phase of growth.
Why this role exists
Today, day-to-day operations are spread across the CEO and a set of part-time and fractional roles. We are consolidating all of it into one full-time position. You will run the operational engine of the company — order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay, supply chain and stock, quality documentation and finance preparation — supported by an AI-augmented back office (Zoho CRM & Books, accounting integrations, Claude-based agents). Your mandate: own it, simplify it, automate it. The CEO focuses on customers, product and investors; you make the company run.
What you will own
- Order-to-cash: order intake and confirmation, shipping documentation, invoicing (Zoho Books), day-to-day factoring administration with our bank, receivables follow-up and customer account hygiene.
- Purchase-to-pay: purchase orders to our manufacturing partners in Asia, supplier invoice reconciliation, freight and customs invoice control, preparation of payment runs.
- Supply chain & stock: inbound logistics and customs/VAT flows (BE & NL, incl. import procedures), 3PL coordination, stock planning, monthly counts and valuation discipline, batch traceability.
- Quality documentation: certificates of analysis, specification version control, supplier qualification files, customer questionnaires and change-control administration — in close collaboration with our CSO, who holds quality sign-off.
- Finance preparation & cash: monthly close preparation for our external accountants, a 13-week rolling cash-flow forecast, VAT preparation (BE & NL) and cost control.
- Systems & AI: run and continuously improve our ERP/CRM/accounting stack and AI agent workflows; the default is to automate before adding headcount.
Mandate & reporting
You report directly to the CEO, with a weekly 1:1. You get real decision space: payment preparation, routine supplier and customer correspondence, and documentation handling within agreed thresholds.
What this role is not
- Not a bookkeeping role — our external accountants close the books; you prepare clean, complete inputs.
- Not strategic finance — fundraising, investor reporting and banking negotiations stay with the CEO.
- Not a quality-decision role — you administer the documentation; the CSO holds quality authority and sign-off.
Who we are looking for
- 4–8 years in operations, customer service or supply chain roles within B2B ingredients, nutraceuticals, food manufacturing/CMO or specialty distribution.
- Fluent in the paperwork of the trade: CoAs, specifications, batches, Incoterms, customs procedures, pre-shipment documentation.
- Hands-on ERP order-to-cash experience (Zoho, Odoo, SAP B1, Exact or similar) and strong Excel; comfortable preparing accounting inputs.
- Demonstrably AI-literate — you already use AI tools in your daily work, and you will be tested on this during selection.
- Professional Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Scale-up temperament: high energy, structured in chaos, independent, escalates early, owner mentality.
What we offer
- A rare mandate: full ownership of operations in an internationally growing, VC-backed ingredient scale-up.
- Competitive salary depending on profile, plus mobility budget, meal vouchers and standard Belgian benefits.
- Antwerp city-centre office (Frankrijklei); 3–4 days per week on-site.
Selection process
Intro videocall (30′) → in-depth interview with the CEO → half-day work sample (a real documentation-conflict case, a cash-flow build from an ERP export, and a live AI-assisted task) → references → offer.
