about the job
Your role involves embedding the quality in the delivery processes of multiple development teams. As an all-round player, you will set up and improve test automation projects throughout the organization. You will participate in the general release process and handle various quality assurance requests and mysteries.
Our organization is constantly evolving and innovating. Your role will include bridging the gap between modern tech stack and legacy systems. You will have numerous opportunities to work on complex parts of the benerail system, learning the ways of international train ticket distribution as well as train carrier activities.
You will be part of a broader organization with a QA chapter, collaborating with other QA-minded colleagues, including test automation experts.

about you
We are looking for an ambitious and people-focused agile test engineer. Someone who is able to work in a playfield with many moving targets and different objectives. We expect you to be comfortable crossing swords with both developers and business analysts on quality matters to tap into their knowledge and keep things moving towards a quality built-in system.

3 - 5 years of experience in a similar job

Structured automation testing, preferably certified in TMAP, ISTQB or CAT (or willing to certify)
- The drive to dive into quality assurance in a complex technical environment

Support of scrum/agile with a built-in quality approach
- Pro-active, accurate, assertive, value driven
- Has some experience with one or more of these test tools: JMeter, Selenium, RestAssured, PlayWright, Postman, Junit, SoapUI
- Programming experience: Java (JDK 8 and newer), GIT
- Able to work with JavaScript, Typescript
- Fan of DevOPS and CI/CD, automation junkie
- Some experience in API testing, willing to bridge the gap to SOAP (JSON to XML)
- Knowledge of Docker, Azure, Springboot, Kubernetes, Jenkins or Gradle is helpful
- Familiar in the Linux world
- Preferably (technical) bachelor’s degree
- Master English as the working language, Dutch and/or French is a big plus
- Willing to work in our office in Antwerp for several days per week
