At LYNX, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help scale our engineering organization and support the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions across the entire client journey.
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead one or more cross-functional engineering squads and play a key role in building strong teams, improving engineering practices, and ensuring successful delivery of business-critical applications. You will combine people leadership with delivery ownership, helping engineers grow while aligning engineering execution with business objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams through feedback, performance management, and career development.

Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Ensure predictable and high-quality delivery of software projects and initiatives.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Designers, and other stakeholders to align priorities and execution.

Balance delivery objectives with technical sustainability and team capacity.

Drive improvements in engineering practices, testing, deployment processes, and operational reliability.

Support engineers in their professional growth and help build engaged, high-performing teams.

Promote the responsible use of AI-assisted tools to improve software delivery and team productivity.

Drive alignment and collaboration across squads and contribute to engineering-wide improvements.

Help shape products and services that improve onboarding, investing, trading, compliance, and client experience across Europe.
You are an experienced engineering leader who enjoys building strong teams and creating an environment where people and technology can excel.

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including experience in an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or similar leadership role.

You have a strong understanding of modern software development practices and agile methodologies.

You have experience delivering complex software products in a collaborative environment.

You have proven experience leading, coaching, and developing engineering teams.

You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You are fluent in English and professionally fluent in Dutch or German, depending on the office location.

You are experienced in working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience with cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and modern engineering tooling.

Experience within financial services, fintech, trading platforms, or other highly regulated environments.

Experience scaling engineering teams in an international organization.
