Deceuninck is operating in more than 90 countries, with production sites in 12 of them, and a worldwide workforce of 3,800 employees. For our headquarters in Hooglede-Gits, we are currently seeking a motivated OT & IT Engineer to join our team.
Our OT & IT Engineer will accelerate the site's digital transformation. In this strategic role. The focus will be on translating operational needs into scalable digital solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability across production, always taking on security as a major aspect.
You are the key person to implement and manage OT infrastructures and to ensure the secure and efficient operation of industrial control systems (ICS), Scada and other OT environments.
The role requires as well international collaboration with IT and operational teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
In this role as OT & IT System Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Actively contributes to the site's digital evolution by turning operational needs into concrete actions.
- Encourage teamwork across departments to find opportunities for improvement and build more efficient, sustainable processes.
- Support the adoption of new digital tools through structured communication, training, and hands-on guidance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by using key performance indicators to track progress over time.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and translate new technologies into useful, practical solutions for the production environment.
- Build long-term relationships with business partners to drive engagement in IT strategy and deliver business value.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or have equivalent expertise gained through hands-on experience in automation projects or as an OT Engineer
- You have previous exposure to digital transformation or process enhancement (within a manufacturing or industrial setting) is an advantage.
- You combine sharp analytical thinking with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and drive transformation.
- You operate with ease in both Dutch- and English-speaking environments.
- You can build bridges between the Engineering teams and bring OT and IT together.
- Short international business trips are not an issue for you.
