Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- At least 5 years of experience in web development using modern JavaScript/HTML frameworks (e.g React,Vue.js, Angular);
- Practical experience with at least one major web mapping library or SDK (e.g. ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript) including layer management, popups, custom widgets, and client-side spatial operations;
- Proficiency in using Python for geo processing, automation, ETL and analysis (e.g. ArcPy, Geo Pandas, Shapely, Rasterio, GDAL/OGR).
Duties/role:
- Developing and configuring GIS web applications using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and other modern web development frameworks;
- Manipulating and integrating spatial data from classified and unclassified sources into web‑based systems;
- Performing data conversion and preprocessing using Python APIs and other spatial ETL tools.
