Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database management systems (RDBMS), including cloud-based platforms;
- Extensive experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines;
- Solid understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures, such as server clustering and virtualized infrastructures – essential for.
Duties/role:
- Managing installation, configuration, upgrades, and backups of database systems and related products both on premises and in the cloud;
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data collection, transformation, and integration processes across multiple on premises and cloud RDBMS platforms;
- Creating, optimizing, and maintaining analytical and monitoring dashboards in Power BI, Grafana, and SSRS.
