Your most important tasks
To expand our engineering department, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. As a mechanical engineer, you will work in a multidisciplinary project team and be responsible for the engineering of specific mechanical systems.
Your Responsibilities:
Preparing integrated conceptual designs, specifications, and technical documents for systems and equipment, together with partners where necessary.
Translating customer requirements and legal requirements into appropriate technical documents (Request For Proposal – Technical part) that can be used by procurement.
Leading the engineering activities for the assigned systems and monitoring quality, assessing input from the engineering team, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Preparing operational and maintenance manuals to be delivered to customers.
Providing support during construction and commissioning: defining procedures, tools, and systems to organize the work for the construction of the products to be delivered.
Our ideal candidate

Experience in mechanical engineering within offshore or industrial projects
Knowledge of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, equipment, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team player with a hands-on mindset
Fluent in English (Dutch/French/German is a plus)
