We are looking for a Medior ASP.NET MVC C# /.NET Developer to strengthen our Web Team’s ongoing digital evolution. With at least 5 years of experience, you have mastered the .NET ecosystem and built scalable, reliable, and user‑centric web platforms.
Your expertise in web development, API integration, scripting languages and modern engineering practices will help us accelerate our web initiatives and deliver high‑quality, seamless digital experiences. Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a strong plus.
What is your role at SNCB?
As a Medior ASP.NET MVC C# /.NET Developer you will take on the following responsibilities:
Web Development: Drive development within our web .NET projects, delivering robust web components and APIs that power modern web applications.
Performance & Reliability: Oversee the evaluation, improvement, and monitoring of frontend and backend performance, ensuring reliability, stability, and maintainability.
API & System Integration: Collaborate closely with UI/UX, architecture, and integration teams to deliver smooth, real‑time data flows across systems.
Technical Implementation Excellence: Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code, while helping define coding standards and best practices for the team.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices. Support the team in building secure and maintainable solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the latest trends in .NET web and backend engineering, helping the team adopt new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
Communication & Mentorship Share progress, highlight risks, and solve problems proactively. Mentor junior developers and cultivate a collaborative engineering culture.
Why is this job a good fit for you?

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in ASP.NET MVC C# /.NET web development.

Strong command of .NET 6+, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.

Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (EF Core).

Experience with CSS/SCSS, HTML 5.

Experience with CMS platforms is a nice‑to‑have (e.g., Sitecore, Umbraco, Optimizely, EpiServer).

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with typescripst / javascript / angular / react
Technical Skills

Solid understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and modern development principles.

Knowledge regarding CI/CD pipelines and expertise using version control (Git).

Strong grasp of performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
