We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps and CI/CD experience to join a leading financial institution in Belgium.
This role is ideal for a developer who combines solid Java engineering expertise with a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices.
What You'll Do
✅ Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications
✅ Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices
✅ Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines
✅ Automate deployments and improve software delivery processes
✅ Work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
✅ Contribute to cloud-native and containerized solutions
✅ Ensure high standards of security, scalability, and performance in a regulated financial environment
Required Skills & Experience
✔ 5-10 years of experience in Java development
✔ Strong experience with:
- Java 11/17+
- Spring Boot
- Microservices
- REST APIs
- SQL Databases
✔ Hands-on DevOps experience with:
- Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
- Docker
- Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Git
- SonarQube
- Nexus/Artifactory
✔ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
✔ Excellent communication skills in English
