We currently have a vacancy for a QA Engineer / Test Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks

Define and maintain test strategy, covering unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing;

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for backend (.NET/JAVA REST APIs) and frontend (Angular/PrimeNG) components;

Set up and maintain test environments and test data pipelines in collaboration with the DevOps team;

Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates are enforced before deployment;

Conduct exploratory and scenario-based testing against complex multi-system workflows;

Produce clear, actionable defect reports and work closely with developers to triage and resolve issues;

Support performance and load testing for high-throughput API endpoints;

Contribute to test documentation required by formal governance reviews and audit processes;

Participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and programme increment reviews.
Requirements

University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years;

Minimum 3 years of professional QA or test engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on test automation;

Hands-on experience with backend API test automation (Playwright API testing, or equivalent);

Strong experience with frontend test automation for Angular applications (Playwright, or Selenium or equivalent);

Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing (GitHub Actions, or equivalent);

Experience testing event-driven or message-based systems, verifying asynchronous flows, message ordering, and error handling;

Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments: understanding how services are deployed and how to access logs and diagnostics for test investigation;

Ability to read and understand .NET and TypeScript/Angular code sufficiently to write meaningful tests and collaborate on testability;

Experience with test data management in environments with complex data;

Excellent command of the English language.
