Your Mission & Responsibilities:
As a Financial Project Controller, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, driving strategic decision-making and optimizing performance. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Financial Management: Leading planning, controlling, and reporting activities for the business unit.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Supporting management by providing crucial insights into performance, risks, and forecasting to enhance operational efficiency.
- Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Defining new models/dashboards and leveraging existing operational and financial dashboards to continuously improve the department's cost flows.
- In-depth Financial Analysis: Executing budget and financial planning, conducting detailed actual-versus-plan analysis, benchmarking, forecasting, and reporting to empower management's decision-making process.
- Cost Structure Enhancement: Applying your analytical and critical mindset to analyze and evaluate existing cost structures, optimizing them based on the cost accounting system.
- Performance Improvement Initiatives: Identifying and proposing efficiency measures to boost business performance and ensure accurate cost booking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Developing and delivering regular presentations for internal stakeholders, based on consolidated budgets and periodic forecasts.
- KPI Definition & Monitoring: Defining and monitoring relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the achievement of critical business goals.
- Impact Assessment: Designing follow-up models to calculate the benefits of efficiency plans and performing Actual vs. Plan comparisons to track the effects of agreed measures.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Carrying out insightful ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations to support various business needs.

Are you the talented individual we're looking for? You should possess:
- A degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Solid accounting skills with a proven ability to understand and interpret key financial statements.
- Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office, with expert proficiency in Excel, and SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a critical mindset.
- A genuine passion for working with numbers and data.
- Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English. Knowledge of French is considered a valuable asset.
