For ENGIE Renewables & Batteries BeNeLux O&M, located in Brussels we are currently looking for a Data Engineer (F/M/X).
ENGIE Renewables & Batteries BeNeLux operates over 2 GW of wind, solar, hydro and battery assets, with ambitious growth plans toward 3 GW by 2030.
As a Data Engineer within the Operations & Performance team, reporting to the Operations & Performance Manager, you will help drive the digitalization of our renewable operations across Belgium and the Netherlands by delivering reliable data, smart analytics and innovative digital solutions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Data Engineer
- Own and optimize the production data chain for ENGIE’s renewable assets, including SCADA and industrial data environments.
- Support the integration of new wind farms, battery storage systems and related monitoring platforms.
- Develop and improve dashboards, automated reporting and data quality processes using tools such as Power BI and Grafana.
- Contribute to digital innovation projects, including AI deployment and new data-driven solutions.
- Coordinate technical implementations and act as a trusted partner for internal and external stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE as Data Engineer
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in data, digital technologies and renewable energy.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, databases, automation or industrial data environments.
- Analytical, solution-oriented and eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
- Willing to travel occasionally within Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
