We are looking for a Analytical Associate Scientist who is curious, collaborative and detail-oriented to join our Biologics Process Sciences team, based in our Braine-L’Alleud campus, in Belgium.
About the role
You will be involved in activities relating to the early-stage process development and late-stage process optimization, transfer manufacturing support for upstream and downstream processes to produce protein therapeutics.
You will aid in process development and optimization, process troubleshooting, investigations, characterization. You will spend up to 80% of your time in the laboratory performing analytical assays to determine the impact of process operations on product quality and provide feedback to improve the mammalian platform.
You will be involved in various technology development projects requiring innovative research in the area of Analytics for biological therapeutics.

You will be working in a team that focuses on analytical and process sciences within biologics development. The team collaborates closely with scientists and cross-functional partners to support manufacturing and development activities. You will contribute to a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment where ideas and continuous learning are encouraged.
What you’ll do

Perform laboratory activities following defined procedures and scientific guidance
- Generate accurate data and ensure timely delivery of results

Share and discuss scientific findings with the team

Compile experimental data for reports and documentation

Maintain clear and compliant laboratory records, including electronic systems

Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement activities

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent practical experience

Experience in laboratory environments, preferably in biologics or related fields

Ability to analyze data and identify inconsistencies or trends

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Attention to detail and good documentation practices

Motivation to learn and develop within a scientific environment
