Because ZF Wind Power keeps on growing, we are looking for a Senior Noise & Vibration Engineer, to join our Technology team in our headquarters in Lommel.

What you can look forward to as Senior Noise & Vibration Engineer:
Taking an important role in Noise & Vibration engineering for wind turbine gearboxes and drivetrains
Developing and analyzing dynamic drivetrain models using MBS and FEM methodologies
Performing vibration and acoustic assessments to identify risks and define effective countermeasures
Driving innovation through simulation-based development and validation with test data
Being involved in the co-engineering with suppliers and other internal departments
Your profile as Senior Noise & Vibration Engineer:
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a strong interest in dynamics, vibrations and gears, a PhD in a related field is considered as a strong asset
Proven experience in the field of Noise & Vibration of gearboxes, initial experience within the wind energy industry is a plus
Knowledge of NVH engineering principles, including modal analysis, order analysis and gear excitation mechanisms
Analytical and hands-on mindset, capable of translating simulation and measurement data into actionable engineering improvements and guidelines
Proactive, with a structured approach and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
Fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage
