You are
- BACHELOR or INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER, mechanical orientation
- Diligent and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Interested in mechanical aspects
As a draftsman/designer, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity! The draftsman is actively involved from the beginning of the project. They analyze the specifications and interact with the client to understand the requirements thoroughly. They project their vision into a 3D model, considering the environment in which the future part will operate, as well as the most suitable manufacturing (machining, molding, forming, etc.) and assembly methods to best meet the demand. Once the 3D concept/model is approved, they create 2D drawings and define the functional tolerances, which may require collaboration with external providers such as suppliers and machinists until the part is received.
You will be required to use the following software tools:
- CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks (CAD software)
- Microsoft Office (office software)
Knowledge of these software tools as well as proficiency in English are assets. However, we are well aware that as a recent graduate, these requirements may not be fully developed yet.
To support your integration into the team, we offer training and the support of our current team members!
As you progress, you will be entrusted with projects to evolve towards a more comprehensive management of them, including handling clients and/or teams.
