We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer - Package Owner to join our team in Belgium and support the delivery of industrial investment projects.
What is the role about?
As an Electrical Package Owner, you will be responsible for the technical coordination and delivery of electrical packages throughout the different project phases, from design and procurement to construction, commissioning and final handover.
You will act as the main technical point of contact for the assigned electrical packages, coordinating internal engineering teams, clients, suppliers and contractors. You will ensure that all deliverables meet the required technical, safety, quality, budget and scheduling standards.
Your responsibilities

Take full ownership of the electrical package throughout all project phases, from conceptual and detailed design to procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.

Define and manage the electrical package scope, technical requirements, deliverables and interfaces, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Coordinate internal engineering teams, suppliers and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration with process, mechanical, civil, automation and instrumentation disciplines.

Review and approve technical specifications, electrical drawings, calculations, equipment data sheets, supplier proposals and other package deliverables.

Monitor package progress, costs, planning, risks, changes and quality, implementing corrective actions or escalating critical issues when necessary.

Ensure that electrical designs and installations comply with project specifications, applicable regulations, ATEX requirements, safety standards and quality procedures.

Act as the main point of contact for all electrical package matters, supporting technical meetings and reporting progress, risks and key issues to the Project Manager.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical design and/or construction.

Strong knowledge of electrical routing systems, including cable routing and installation layouts.

Ability to understand electrical design concepts and determine the appropriate location of equipment, systems and interfaces within an industrial facility.

Experience coordinating electrical work with other engineering disciplines, suppliers and contractors.

Knowledge of applicable electrical regulations and standards, including RGIE/AREI.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Fluency in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.

Willingness to travel to project and client sites, with a valid driving licence.
