IT Systems Administrator & Analyst
Help shape the digital future of a growing manufacturer
Jomy makes the aluminium access and safety systems that keep people secure at height — evacuation stairs, machine access platforms, and Building Maintenance Units used across the world. We're not a tech startup, but we're modernizing fast: moving to a cloud-first stack (Microsoft 365 + Google Cloud), rebuilding our IT foundation from the ground up, and running a pipeline of major projects — a new website, web-product-configurator, webshop, and ERP system — that need someone curious to help drive them.
This isn't a "keep the lights on" job. It's a "help rebuild the plane while flying it" job: ambitious, hands-on, and never boring. And you won't be doing it alone — you'll join an established IT team of two expereinced IT professionals, who'll onboard you, share what they know, and tackle these projects together. We care about attitude and genuine curiosity far more than a long CV.
What you'll actually be doing
- Understand how the business really works — map and improve the processes behind our systems, so the technology actually fits the work
- Build solutions tailored to our needs — hands-on in our apps (React/Next.js, Django, Odoo, on Google Cloud)
- Keep our whole stack running — Microsoft 365, Google Cloud, ~30 PCs, Windows & Linux servers, VoIP
- Choose the right tool for the job — find, test, and configure existing solutions vs. building our own
- Be the go-to person — helpdesk support people actually appreciate, not dread
- Work smarter with AI — make AI tools genuinely useful for the whole team and for your own development work.
What makes you a fit
- A great attitude, curiosity, and drive to learn — this matters more to us than what you already know
- You like figuring out why something is done, not just how, and you're pragmatic about solutions
- A grasp of modern IT: cloud, networks, security
- Comfortable with — or excited to pick up — a bit of code
- You thrive on variety; no two days look the same
- Organized, and you document your work
- Languages: French required; English required; Dutch a nice plus.
- You live within ~30 minutes of Wihogne
What we offer
- Permanent, full-time contract — 38h/week, flexible hours (start 7:30–9:00, finish 16:00–17:30)
- Hybrid working — 1 day/week from home.
- A correct remuneration package, no car included.
- Real autonomy and ownership in a small team that figures things out together
Why Jomy?
- Real impact, immediately — your work directly shapes how the company runs
- A close-knit team, open communication, short decision lines
- A financially healthy, dynamic company — stable ground to build big things on
- Meaningful products — you'll support the systems behind safety equipment used across the world
- An easy commute — no traffic headaches
