Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in firewall administration and network security;
- PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent qualification;
- Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
Desirable:
- At least three (3) years of experience in PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA);
- At least three (3) years of experience in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP);
- At least three (3) years of experience in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Code 200-301).
Duties/role:
- Configuring Boundary Protection components end-to-end in accordance with approved technical designs, security requirements, and NCIA standards;
- Integrating and validating Boundary Protection components to ensure interoperability with network infrastructure, Core Services, and supporting management systems within DCIS kits;
- Supporting the deployment, configuration, validation, and operational readiness of Boundary Protection components within DCIS kits.
